Frequently Asked Questions

What is your tattoo rate per hour?

The studio minimum is $150, with an hourly rate of $200.  Our artists work very efficiently, and are focused on giving you the high quality tattoo you're looking for. There is no charge for consultations - if you need to discuss ideas, questions, etc about what you're planning for your tattoo, write us!

How do I book an appointment?

Appointments for consultations and tattoos are scheduled via e-mail.  Consultations are no charge.  After necessary details and an appointment date are discussed, a nonrefundable booking fee of $100 (or more depending on design) is required for each appointment requested. The fee(s) goes toward the overall payment at the respective session(s).

* A 72+ hours advance notice from the scheduled session time is required for all reschedule requests so that we can try to fill the calendar as needed.

* One reschedule request is allowed per session (with the appropriate amount of notice); two or more reschedules or any requests made less than 72 hours in advance will forfeit all fees paid for that session, and an additional booking fee will be required to reschedule.

* No call/No shows, late reschedules, and cancellations will result in a total loss of all fees paid.

* These fees cannot be transferred or applied to another concept or session.

How do I get my tattoo design started?

A consultation is required first, which is requested and scheduled over e-mail.  Info we need to know:

  • General concept of your idea, along with any reference pics for color, linework, style requests, etc.

  • Photo and written description of location you want the tattoo  -  we can draw directly onto these for design layout and sizing references.  Please include the written location along with the photos  - they're sometimes sent in reverse camera, and we need to make sure we're designing for the correct side.

  • Size of the tattoo (inch x inch) of the full area/s you want the tattoo to cover

  • Health-related concerns?

  • Any other questions or concerns you might have about the process?

Do you take walk-ins?

No. Our artists work by appointment only and request that you contact us several weeks before you'd like to have the tattoo done.  Please send us an e-mail (or fill out the contact form) with the details of your tattoo to get started!

I don't know what I want! Can you design something for free?

No. Our artists draw each concept with the client in mind, but also need to be paid for their time and effort. We all  require a deposit for any new designs/bookings and need you to have a general direction of the tattoo concept to start. 

Please keep in mind that some concepts or styles may be turned away because of design conflicts and other concerns.

How long does it take to create a design?

Each design will require a different amount of time to complete, and many artists won't provide any previews until the actual session, no exceptions. That said, artists will typically schedule additional time for all sessions just in case last-minute changes are requested.  While this rarely happens, it typically only takes a few minutes.
